Videoholics as a future defense

Well it seems that the American Medical Association has some vindication for their claim that videoholics exist. If you want to look at it that way that is.
It seems that there was a recent robbery in PA at a Toys R Us where about $2000 worth of video games were stolen. Now some might say that this was motivated by greed. The resale of these games providing funds for drugs, alcohol, or just to have cash. But considering how the AMA has been looking to validate their claim that video games can be an addiction, I’m sure some lawyer will use their definition to get the culprits off. That is if they are caught.
It makes me wonder what is less intelligent. Claiming that video games are addictive, or using that supposition as a defense at a trial. Let’s see what happens when the criminals are caught. I bet 3 - 1 they use this excuse igf they have a good lawyer. Even money that it works.
