Here we go again. Another movie adaptation may be in the works, this one for Max Payne:
-
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Mark Wahlberg is in negotiations to star in “Max Payne,” Fox’s adaptation of the hit video game.
The story centers on a DEA agent named Max Payne who is framed for the murder of a fellow agent and finds himself in the middle of a mob war, which gives him a chance to avenge the Mafia slayings of his wife and child.
John Moore (”Flight of the Phoenix”) is directing.
Wahlberg, currently shooting Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones,” was most recently in theaters with the crime drama “We Own the Night.”
If it’s with Wahlberg, I’m out. After that awful movie he made called Shooter, which seems to be some type of anti-American propaganda (read here to learn more), that’s why I have no interest in it. But then, Max Payne was never something I was interested in seeing on the silver screen anyway.
In other words, this really is a “non-issue”!
