Oh dear! A pesky gorilla has caused you a nasty fire scare, and now, you’re on your way to settle the score. To do this, you’ve gotta make your way past the gorilla’s own projectiles as well as other animals like mischievous chimps, snakes, and scorpions.
It’s a wonderful game done in splendid isometric fashion, as Sega sought to try and expand upon the graphics design they’d first used in Zaxxon, here doing a good job with depicting how the jungle explorer climbs this way and that across a couple of complicated forms of terrain in order to try and reach the pesky gorilla, who is all but too cowardly to face off with him up front over that nasty trick he pulled, and keeps retreating to further terrain and more obstacles for our brave adventurer. You need to be careful that those chimps won’t cop a ride on your shoulder as they can slow you down, and if they do, try jumping to shake them off.
A pretty good time in the jungle, I’ll say.
