Video games are becoming more successful than DVDs

Considering how Hollywood movies are getting worse and worse, I don’t think this should be too surprising. But here you go, according to Ars Technica (via Hot Air Headlines), as the quality of movies goes down, the sales for game recordings go up and up!
Is that a good thing? Well, in a way, yes, because I’ve become less and less supportive of movies over the years, and even less a fan of say, Steven Spielberg because of his own quality dropping as he lets his political positions get the better of him.
All the same, I think reading is surely a better thing than game playing, and hope that others will take that into account.
