Videos of first Sengoku

First two stages, and if I ever see the rest available, I’ll add those as well:
A couple centuries ago, there was vicious shogun running rampant in Japan. He was defeated by two brave samurai, but before his death, he left a prophecy that he would return in four centuries. Now that he has, it’s up to two descendants of the samurai who first brought him to justice to stop his new reign of tyranny.
A pretty good game that may have drawn some inspiration from Altered Beast, I have no idea if it was any more successful, but like Sega’s earlier game, its drawing card was the ability to change into three special guises: a wolf, an armed samurai, and a kickboxer. Of these three forms, the wolf is probably the weakest: while the somersault attack seems to work, the paw-attack does not seem to have any effect. This may have been caused by a programming bug that was never fixed; the one flaw in the game’s controls. With the exception of that, the controls worked pretty well. When you obtain special power ups, you can combine them with the special forms to launch projectiles at the enemies, but pay attention that it’s possible for them to deflect some of the attacks, meaning that you need to calculate your steps more strategically.
Note that the forms are all time-based, and depending on how often you use them, there’s the possibility that they’ll wear off, unless you change back to regular form prior to your ascension to the next stage, where the time limit will be restored. Of course, it’s also possible that those helpful magical folks will restore use if you need it too.
There would be at least two more games in this series produced later on, and if I can find any videos of them, I’ll make sure to add them as well.
