So here it is, the sequel to the first samurai swashbuckler. This time, a princess from the 16th century seeks your help in stopping a monarch who’s trying to dominate the earth by travelling through time. This time, the three special forms are given out at the start of the game. Better still, the wolf form proves effective when you’re doing the paw attacks! The full game may be a little shorter than the first, but it’s still quite exciting to play. Swords this time are regular features for the players, and besides the wolf form are also those of a martial artist, and an old-looking guy with a quarterstaff, which may be powerful but moves slowly.
Interesting thing about this game is that, while the stages don’t appear randomly, it does seem reminiscient of how Time Soldiers and Ninja Commando use different time eras, doesn’t it? Hmm.
