No, this isn’t a fighting game, but rather, an overhead shoot-em-up made by Toaplan in 1986:
Also called Alcon in the US, this is a good plane fighting game that uses elements from both Xevious and even Gradius, though unlike the former, your firepower can reach the ground without relying on a special button for ground missiles. Very good production.
