Here’s a little lineup of SNK’s bunch of baseball games:
We first begin with Baseball Stars from 1989. It was a brilliant game at the stadium, where you could customize teams and players.
This was made shortly before SNK built their Neo-Geo MVS, and when they did, launched a special version specially for it called Baseball Stars Professional. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a recording of that specifically. However, here’s a recording of the sequel, 2020 Super Baseball!
Man, this is great. It’s a futuristic take on the sport, with cybernetic players duking it out in an advanced stadium.
And then, here comes the definite sequel, Baseball Stars 2!
Boy, this is pretty cool and engaging, and some of sound effects sure are funny! So, don’t just sit there - play ball!
