Capcom’s Arthurian games

Capcom made a couple games based on the legends told of the last of the great Celtic kings of Britain before the Norman invasion in the 8th century. All games were popular, and here’s some recordings of them, starting with Ghosts ‘n Goblins from 1985:
Sir Arthur the Knight needs to rescue his beloved Guinevere from sinister monsters led by the Goblin King, and thus goes on a quest to deal with them.
Then, here’s a taping of the sequel, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts:
The monsters are back with a vengeance, and have slain Guinevere, and Arthur needs to go on a one-man quest to save her mortal soul. Superior graphics, as always, in this sequel.
Then, we have a taping of Knights of the Round:
This is more of a Final Fight style game. One difference is that here, they didn’t include the ability to throw opponents, though it is possible to deliver a strong enough swing to knock an enemy into other enemies as well. You’ve got a selection of 3 famous knights to choose from - Arthur, and also Lancelot and Perceval. You’re on a quest to defeat the forces of evil present in ancient Britain. A pretty good game of its sort.
There were 3-4 more games like these made just for consoles as well, and if I can ever find some tapings, I’ll try to add them as well.
