The third game in the arcade series this was, but alas, not only was Mario not in the game this time (instead, it was a gardner who needs to spray ol’ Kong up a rope while trying to avoid all the garden pests getting in the way), it didn’t win over audiences either, no matter how fun it might look. Fortunately for Nintendo, they made the first official Mario Bros. game later that year, which was so popular that it made up for any losses this game might’ve taken.
