This was Sega’s first big breakthrough into the 3-D graphics design, an excellent drag strip race challenge. It led to the formation of Sega’s special AM2 division headed by Yu Suzuki, which designed many, if not all, of their 3-D based output. A wonderful game that holds up quite well even today.
