This game, loosely based on the old sci-fi stories that began as early as the 1930s, puts you in the cockpit of a spacecraft battling plenty of enemy crafts, flying saucers and other assorted alien menaces in a fast-moving sector of the galaxy. It was one of the earliest games of its sort based on a licensed product (not to mention one to have a continue option), and I wonder if it was intended to cash in on the TV series starring Gil Gerard that aired around that time. The thing is, that series was only semi-successful, and may have been cancelled by the time this game came around, so I have no idea.
