The first war-type game Namco made where you control tanks, this is sort of like an expansion on what Atari first worked on with Tank in 1974. Namco would later produce two sequels to this as well. It also predates a 3-D game they made in the mid-90s called Tokyo Wars, where you control a special set of tanks duking it out downtown.
