Salamander, aka Lifeforce, as seen in the first recording here, is part of the Gradius series but may still be its own game in some ways. Here’s a 3-part recording of the first game right here:
There are plenty of awesome ideas to be seen here, as it innovatively features both side and overhead scrolling scenes, and many scary parts where you need to make your way through thin passageways. A shooter with most demanding play indeed.
Then, here’s the awesome sequel to this particular game, Salamander 2, made ten years after the first game of that title, in 2 parts:
Whoa, now is this most magnificient! Even better graphics this time, some voice announcements, and many other things to make this a most marvelous and equally demanding experience.
