Sega designed this wonderful classic as their own effort to compete with the overwhelming popularity of Tetris. While surpassing the success of Tetris is something nobody can possibly expect to do, the game has still since earned most loyal followings, and is just as addictive. You have 3-part block sections coming down, but instead of rotating, you need to switch their positions around so that one color could be on top, another in the middle and another on the bottom. To eliminate various block parts, you need to align 3 matching colors either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, sort of like Atari’s Klax did.
Columns is a most splendid and addictive puzzle game that’s definitely earned its spot in the list of computer puzzle games made over the past decades, and is strongly recommended for everyone looking for something challenging.
