Let’s see what we have here now on display: the followup to X-Men vs Street Fighter, this time with heroes from other ends of the Marvel Universe as well. Here’s a video featuring the super moves:

As good a game as it is, I still think that the lack of more Marvel superheroines here is diappointing. They couldn’t have even thought to include Firestar? For heaven’s sake, Angelica Jones would’ve been FABULOUS for a game like this! Yes, there are some secret characters here, but otherwise, what you see here is really just characters who’d already appeared in at least 2 other games they made. I’m certainly glad they thought to include Sakura. Dan, however, is made out to be more of a joke here, due to how iffy his super-attacks are. Frankly, I think Capcom let their grudge against SNK get the better of them on this issue.
Cyber Akuma, the last boss here, is surely one of the hardest bosses Capcom’s ever featured in a fighting game. It’s difficult to chew off really big chunks of energy from his bar. Boy, is this good stuff!
