This classic game starred the two cops who toplined Chase HQ. Here, you’re working in the title metropolis, and there’s been a huge prisonbreak with many dangerous criminals littering up the town, and it’s up to you to stop the organized syndicate responsible, who’ve even gone so far as to kidnap the mayor. An interesting thing about how this works is that, while bullets can kill you instantly, if you’re just struck by an enemy’s fist or foot, or some of those barrels, you’ll only be injured, hence the special lifebar that can be replenished with soda bottles. There’s even at least two areas here where you fire “into” the screen while facing front. It’s a great game that’s well worth playing.
