In this great race, you drive through 20 areas from Los Angeles to New York while trying to maintain the first rank, though I don’t think it makes much difference what place you’re in; the ending always seems to be the same. Along the way, there are a few places where you need to press buttons to activate the headlights and the windshield wipers. You also need to look out for police cruisers that could pull you over briefly for speeding, and try to outrun them. And, you need to be careful not to temporarily fall off cliffs!
This was also the first place where Sonic the Hedgehog made his appearance, as the little figurine dangling from the rearview mirror. Rad Mobile was released shortly before Sonic’s game was officially released on the Genesis/Mega Drive, and might’ve even helped promote him in sales.
