Now, let us have a little look at two more Fatal Fury connected games. First up is one of SNK’s earliest 3-D efforts, Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition, a 3-D take on their famous fighting series. A short tape with Terry emerging from a taxicab:
Here’s also some links to clips of the endings:
Geese Howard (also see this one for suit-based ending).
Billy Kane.
Ryuji Yamazaki.
Raiden.
Terry Bogard.
Andy Bogard.
Joe Higashi.
Kim Kaphwan.
Li Xiangfei.
Duck King.
Tsugumi Sendo.
Sakata Toji.
Mai Shiranui.
Mr. Karate (Ryo Sakazaki).
They did a pretty good effort in trying to remain true to how the earlier games were designed. Interesting thing here is how Big Bear was reverted back to his Raiden status as a way of explaining how he decided to can the first gig (along with the mask) and take up the second instead.
Next, here’s a short video of Garou: Mark of the Wolves, the last official game in the Fatal Fury series:

This game is set many years after the first games took place, with Terry now serving as the tutor to the son of Geese Howard, who’s name is Rock, and is helping him to find a good path. Unlike the earlier entries, here they dropped the double-plane feature altogether, featuring just one, which is surprising. But nevertheless, it’s a very well-designed game, and a good conclusion to the famous fighting series.
