One problem though is that it’s the Japanese version. But anyway, here it is right after the expandable summary:
This was a special quiz-style game based in part on the legendary fighting franchise, except that here, grappling isn’t what you do. Rather, there’s a whole set of quiz questions you need to answer, and other stuff like that, as you go on a search for Yuri Sakazaki, who’s being held by a ruthless warlord. There are at least six characters here from the regular fighting games, including ideally enough, Mai Shiranui, and quite a selection of quizzes to take here.
The game was co-designed by Saurus, which might’ve been a subsidiary of SNK’s in the same way that Alpha Denshi was before they merged completely with the parent company.
And man, do I wish I could get a look at this in English, so that I could know just what kind of questions are being asked!
