This interesting gem looks vaguely similar in some ways to Konami’s Monster Maulers, if you consider how the opponent’s life gauge appears at the bottom of the screen rather than above and next to that of the character you’re playing as.
In Japan, this was usually titled Red Earth. It’s a shame this may not have ever been ported to home systems, as it used a complicated program that required a lot of memory for the graphics. But that’s why, once again, it’s great to have emulator systems that can handle it!
